资源简介:
The study was conducted to examine the hypothesis that an FMT enema can lead to clinical improvement in dogs with chronic inflammatory enteropathies, and that this will be driven by microbiota changes that allow the FMT recipient to experience a short-lived changes to a microbiome profile that resembles the healthy FMT donor(s). As secondary objectives, we also wanted to assess microbiota composition from individual donors across repeated donations, as well as how processing of fecal samples to the ready-to-go FMT slurry and storage of fecal material for FMT with and without glycerol as a cryopreservative effects microbial composition of the FMT preparation.
