We studied the microbial community of hydrogen-fed biofilms primarily composed of denitrifying bacteria (DB) and sulfate reducing bacteria (SRB). We sought to understand the impact of different electron donor delivery rates and electron acceptor influent concentrations on the biofilm community. Finally, we studied the relationships between DB and SRB with other members of the microbial community.
