Opération "Courroie" Public Derived Sector-Level Dataset

This dataset provides the public derived sector-level data used to support the descriptive comparison reported in the article “Counting Disruption: Military Reporting and the Measurement of Weakening in Opération “Courroie”, Algeria, 1959” It includes the eleven French administrative reporting sectors used in the Courroie annex system, recorded neutralizations, the Weighted Neutralization Index (WNI), and Subsequent Activity (SA). The package also includes a codebook and replication notes, a README file, the dataset in CSV and Excel formats, a figure file, and a CC BY 4.0 license statement. This is a public derived sector-level dataset and does not include the authors’ full working person-level extraction database.
