The characteristics of gut microbiota and its relation with diet in postmenopausal osteoporosis

we completely revealed the intestinal microbiome characteristics of postmenopausal women through shallow shotgun technique and further clarified the crosstalk of specific dietary patterns, specific changes of intestinal microflora, and postmenopausal osteoporosis based on the dietary characteristics of postmenopausal women in Shanghai, China. It provides a new research direction for the subsequent regulation of bone metabolism by intestinal microbes and a potential target for the prevention and treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis.
