资源简介:
Seventy children between 8 and 11 years of age (34 female) from several elementary schools in Querétaro, México participated in this study. Forty-five children had an LD diagnosis (the LD group) and 25 children had good academic achievement (the GAA group). Our objective was to explore the relationship between self-concept and LD in Mexican children. Children with LD had percentiles lower than 10 in at least one subscale (reading, writing and/or mathematics) of the Infant Neuropsychological Scale for Children (ENI) (Matute, Rosselli, Ardila, & Ostrosky-Solis, 2005) and lower than 16 in at least another subscale. Six self-concept domains were evaluated with the Piers-Harris Self-Concept Scale.
