The Lufft WS501 (S/N 537.1119.1009.230) Weather Station was deployed on 2025-10-13 on Campbell River - Quathiaski Cove Ferry Route. This ferry route goes between Campbell River, Vancouver Island, BC, and Quadra Island (Quathiaski Cove), BC. This device is a Meteorological Station. Meteorological stations are instruments that make routine meteorological measurements on the atmosphere and are comprised of a suite of sensors. Typical examples of measurements include temperature, barometric pressure, humidity, rainfall, solar radiation, wind speed and direction. It was deployed on a mobile platform.
