This dataset accompanies a comparative cross-sectional study investigating the impact of examination stress on the menstrual cycle among female students in Pakistan. The study included 265 participants, equally divided between medical students at Aziz Fatima Medical and Dental College and non-medical students from Government College University Faisalabad and The University of Faisalabad.
The dataset includes demographic information, menstrual patterns, prevalence of dysmenorrhea, amenorrhea, oligomenorrhea, and changes in bleeding, premenstrual symptoms, medication usage, and class attendance during examinations. The aim of the dataset is to allow secondary analysis of associations between academic stress and menstrual health, as well as to provide transparency and reproducibility of the published study results.
