An Introduction to China Data Online and China Data Lab

China Data Online provides rich and comprehensive information for government statistics, census data, and spatial data (GIS) of China. This workshop gave an introduction to the China Data Online, including its background, objectives, primary data sources, methodologies, unique features, and online functions for easy access and analysis. It also discussed the new initiative of China Data Lab, a cloud based platform that offers an integrated environment for data, tools and case studies for China studies.
