资源简介:
Ionizing radiation affects various aspects of plant growth and development, and the interaction between neutrons and matter can indirectly generate ionizing radiation. This study used different doses of D-D reaction fast neutron irradiation of pea seeds to further investigate the effects of D-D reaction fast neutron irradiation on plant growth and development through M1 generation seedling phenotype, physiological characteristics, and proteome. The results showed that lower doses of the D-D reaction fast neutron had a positive effect on plant growth and development. As the irradiation dose increased, the growth of M1 generation pea seedlings was inhibited. Proteomics results indicated that the down-regulated proteins were mainly associated with ribosome and glycerol metabolism, while the up-regulated proteins were mainly enriched in pathways associated with photosynthesis, thylakoids, and nitrogen metabolism. The results of this study obtained some radiation biological effects within the studied dose range and preliminarily identified relevant protein information, providing a basis for further research on the key pathways of neutron irradiation at corresponding doses.
