CONCEPTUAL MODEL FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF GIFTED STUDENTS AND ITS IMPLEMENTATION IN HIGHER EDUCATION PRACTICE

This article explores the conceptual model for developing gifted students and its effective implementation within higher education practice. The study analyzes theoretical foundations of giftedness development, including cognitive, motivational, and creative dimensions of student potential. Particular attention is given to structuring a pedagogical system that supports identification, development, and continuous monitoring of gifted learners in university settings. The proposed model integrates personalized learning trajectories, innovative pedagogical technologies, and competency-based approaches aimed at enhancing students’ intellectual and creative capacities. The article also discusses practical mechanisms for applying the model in higher education institutions, emphasizing the role of instructors, mentorship, and digital learning environments. The findings suggest that a systematically designed conceptual model significantly improves the quality of talent development and contributes to preparing highly competitive graduates for the modern labor market.
