Halichoerus grypus isolate:241Hg Genome sequencing and assembly

Draft assembly for a grey seal (Halichoerus grypus) using a hybrid short and long read strategy. This seal, Valentino, was sampled as part of a long term, multi-institute surveillance program led by Wendy Puryear and Jonathan Runstadler (Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University) focused on grey seal health and ecology.Sample was collected under permit NMFS#21719.Internal grant support was given by Tufts University via Tufts Collaborates (V330441).
