This FAIRsharing record describes: TRIPOD+AI is an extension and update of the original TRIPOD-2015, and replaces TRIPOD-2015. TRIPOD+AI is a 27-item checklist which aims to harmonise the landscape of prediction model studies and to provide transparent reporting of studies developing, validating, or extending (updating) a prediction model regardless of whether regression models or machine learning methods have been used, whether the model are used for for diagnostic, prognostic, monitoring or screening purposes, irrespective of the medical domain and of the outcomes predicted or predictors being used. The new checklist supersedes the TRIPOD 2015 checklist, which should no longer be used.
