Dysbiosis in the vaginal microbiome is associated with negative reproductive outcomes. Many women experience recurrent dysbiosis, but the microbiological and/or host factors that differentiate these women from those who respond to treatment longer term are not well understood. We are applying DNA sequencing to understand the composition of the microbiota of Canadian women with vaginal dysbiosis.
