资源简介:
5,620 ha of medium-density discrete-return lidar data collected in 6 cutting blocks of 5 logging concessions in East Kalimantan, Indonesia. Data was collected by Credent Teknologi (Jakarta Indonesia) in April 2013, within 26 months of closure of logging operations, at an average pulse density of 4.5 m-2, with 40% swath overlap, scanner angle <20 degrees, and standard flying height of 650 m above ground level. Data package includes LAS point-cloud files with ground points classified and 1-m resolution Relative Density Model (RDM) rasters that reveal spatial corridors in understory vegetation created by skidding operations. RDM values are calculated by dividing the number of lidar point returns in the RDM height stratum (1-10 m above ground level) by the total number of returns below the upper RDM limit (10 m). See Ellis et al. 2016 "Mapping selective logging impacts in Borneo with GPS and airborne lidar" for more details, and cite this manuscript in any further publications that make use of the data.
