Draft genome assembly of Delftia tsuruhatensis ALG19
收藏资源简介:
This record contains a draft genome assembly of Delftia tsuruhatensis strain ALG19, generated by reassembling publicly available Illumina sequencing reads from SRA run SRR31881480. The reads were originally deposited under NCBI BioProject PRJNA1205903 by Wang et al. (2025). That study deposited raw sequencing reads but did not provide an assembled genome. This record supplies one. Reads were assembled with Unicycler v0.4.8 on the BV-BRC platform, quality-trimmed and coverage-normalised before assembly (target 200x, estimated genome size 6.7 Mb) and polished with two rounds of Pilon. A minimum contig length of 300 bp and minimum contig coverage of 5x were applied. No long-read data are available for this strain, so the assembly could not be scaffolded or closed. The assembly comprises 93 contigs totalling 6,704,021 bp, with a GC content of 66.73%, an N50 of 361,945 bp and a largest contig of 682,292 bp. It supersedes an earlier 115-contig MEGAHIT draft produced from the same reads. The assembly was screened for foreign contamination with NCBI FCS-GX 0.5.5 against the full GX database (build 2023-01-24, 709 Gbp) using taxonomy identifier 180282 (Delftia tsuruhatensis). No contaminant sequence was identified. Because the assembly is fragmented, gene presence/absence calls derived from it should be treated as an upper bound: genes split across contig boundaries may be scored as absent when they are in fact present. This assembly was produced as part of a comparative genomic analysis of candidate beta-carboline biosynthetic loci across the genus Delftia, including loci potentially associated with harmane production.
