Database and cartography of the Soils of Lazio

In the Lazio soil database, all information on Lazio soils collected over the last 50 years has been archived and new information on soils is collected in the database as it is acquired and made available. The data collected are the result of field surveys and descriptions, laboratory determinations, assessments and estimates based on the data collected and supplemented by data acquired remotely (satellite images, orthophotos, digital land models, etc.) or from other sources (geological maps, land use and vegetation maps, etc.).
