TEPs RNA sequencing of clinical malignant and benign GGOs

Whole blood samples drawn in 10 mL EDTA-coated anticoagulant tubes were collected from 81 patients with GGOs which were composed of malignant (n=59) and inflammatory (n=22) recruited from the Second XiangYa Hospital of Central South University between November 2020 and May 2021.Subsequently, based on clinical diagnosis, patients were divided into malignant and inflammatory groups. Malignant GGOs contained 57 LUAC,1 LUSC and 1 unclassified lung cancer. Blood samples were processed within 48 hours. The platelets pellets were carefully resuspended in 30 uL RNAlater and overnight incubated at 4 degree, then frozen at -80 degree until prepared RNA-seq.The study was approved by Medical Ethics Committee of The Second XiangYa Hospital of Central South University of No.2020-ethical review-clinical study-107 and conducted in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki.
