Single Cell TARGET-seq: a Rapid Mapping of Transcription Factor Functional Combinatorial Effects

we propose scTARGET-seq, which uses transient expression of TFs fused to the glucocorticoid receptor along with single cell RNA-seq analysis in Arabidopsis thaliana protoplasts. We demonstrate that this technique will not only accelerate the study of the genome-wide functional effect of TFs, but also highlight the major combinatorial effect of TFs in controlling genome expression.
