The Authorised List of Classified Headings controls the General Correspondence Files, Alpha-Numeric System. It is a record of the subject classifications that were to be used when creating files. It was known within Council as a Filing Guide.The Authorised List consists of Primary classifications and Secondary classifications within those Primary classifications.
