Reserve area for water supply

Reserved areas are areas in which a technical interest (here: water supply) must be given particular weight when weighing up competing uses. The regional plans define sensitive areas of the groundwater catchment areas outside the water protection areas as reserve areas for water supply for the public water supply by the regional planning associations.
