Opening of the Silver Lake Branch Library of the Los Angeles Public Library, 2411 Glendale Boulevard, Silver Lake, Los Angeles, 2009 November 16 (41:10), and the community open house in the library, 2009 November 21 (20:00), by the Silver Lake History Collective (SLHC). Speakers at the grand opening included city librarian Martín Gómez, mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, counselman Garcetti, Eric, counselman Tom LaBonge. Interviewees at the open house were architect Barry Milofsky and president of the Silver Lake Library Friends Michael Saint-Onge. Part of a series of oral histories "The people of Silver Lake".
