Genomic profile of two Brazilian choroid plexus tumors by whole exome sequencing

Choroid plexus tumors lack information about their molecular profile despite all the advances of the molecular area. Few studies are available and most of the alterations identified are located in the TP53 gene without any other known recurrent driver event. To our knowledge there is no information about the somatic profile on choroid plexus tumors from the Brazilian population. Therefore we aimed to identify possible driver events (variants and copy number variation) through whole exome sequencing of two choroid plexus tumors (one atypical choroid plexus papilloma and one choroid plexus carcinoma).
