Interviews of Tijuana's Youth Regarding Ecological Solutions - Translated, processed and anonymized

A total of 49 interviews were conducted with young residents of Tijuana, aged 17-20, who had prior exposure to ecological education. This criterion ensured participants had foundational knowledge of environmental issues, allowing for more insightful discussions. Since they were not part of the workforce, their views on urban sustainability were less influenced by economic or industrial biases. The interviews focused on gathering their ideas for improving ecological conditions in the city, addressing challenges such as pollution, waste management, and green space development. Responses were initially translated into English using Google Translate, followed by a detailed refinement process to ensure clarity and remove informal expressions. A bilingual researcher reviewed all translations to maintain the accuracy of sentiment and thematic meaning. To uphold confidentiality, all responses were fully anonymized.
