中国宗教数据（2008年）

该数据集研究单元以省、直辖市、自治区为单位，共 31 个（数据未包含香港、澳门、台湾）。宗教机构以 2008年登记注册为宗教行业的宗教机构为准，不包括未登记注册的或登记为其他行业的宗教机构。根据 2008 年经济普查统计，中国共有各类登记注册的宗教场所59351个，其中佛教 19240 个，道教 3138个，伊斯兰教 15246个，基督教 16878 个以及其他宗教机构4849个。

The research units of this dataset are defined at the provincial-level administrative divisions, including provinces, municipalities directly under the Central Government, and autonomous regions, totaling 31 in number (data excludes Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan). Religious institutions herein refer to those registered under the religious industry category in 2008, excluding unregistered ones or those registered under other industrial categories. According to the 2008 National Economic Census, there are a total of 59,351 registered religious venues across China, including 19,240 Buddhist sites, 3,138 Taoist sites, 15,246 Islamic sites, 16,878 Christian sites and 4,849 other religious institutions.
