1991 Survey on Time Use and Leisure Activities: Survey Outline, Questionnaire, etc.

All households in Japan and household members 15 years of age or older. However, the following are excluded:
(1) Members of the foreign diplomatic and consular corps, as well as military personnel (including family members, accompanying persons, and family members of accompanying persons)
(2) Self-Defense Forces personnel living in barracks or on vessels
(3) Persons in prisons and detention centers whose sentence has been decided, persons in youth detention centers and women's reformatories
(4) Persons living in social welfare facilities
(5) Inpatients of hospitals or clinics
(6) Persons living on the water
