This register contains a summary record of all Residential Lease Applications in the Land District of Glen Innes, kept by the Glen Innes Lands Office.An application for a Residential Lease would be submitted to the local Crown Land Agent, together with a deposit. Upon receipt of such an application, the Agent would enter the details into this register. Each new application was numbered in consecutive order, beginning at one at the start of each calendar year.This register records information such as the number of the application, the name and address of the applicant, date of the application, description of the land applied for, particulars of Miner’s Right of Mineral Licence referred to in application, the area of the land, deposits paid, survey fee, provisional rent, date of Gazette Notice of Approval of Lease and Lease Number and any Miscellaneous Action.
