Chromosome-level genome assembly and annotation files of Pseudostellaria heterophylla

Pseudostellaria heterophylla (Miq.) Pax, a perennial herb belonging to the Caryophyllaceae family, possesses significant pharmacological value and serves as an ideal model system for studying dimorphic cleistogamy. By integrating short-read, PacBio HiFi, Hi-C, and transcriptome sequencing, we assembled and annotated a high-quality chromosome-level genome for P. heterophylla, which spans a length of 2.19 Gb with a scaffold N50 of 144.78 Mb.
