Saccharomyces cerevisiae Raw sequence reads

In the diploid strain, we deleted POL32 and subjected it to multiple passages to accumulate mutations. We found that the pol32 mutant exhibited a widespread accumulation of genomic instability events while also affecting the frequency and spectrum of point mutations to some extent. This study focuses on the distinct roles of Pol32 in maintaining genome stability.
