RNA-seq of the lung adenocarcinoma cell line H1299 transfected with negative control or PLK1 siRNA.. Homo sapiens

PLK1 is an essential mitotic kinase in the mitotic progression and spindle bipolarity. It is known that PLK1 inhibition induces cell-cycle arrest and apoptosis in tumor cells. However, small things are known about apoptosis induced by PLK1 depletion. To know the gene that contributes to apoptosis induced by PLK1 inhibition, we comprehensively analyzed RNA expressions of the lung adenocarcinoma cell line H1299. We prepared two types of H1299 cells; PLK1 -depleted and -normal types.
