Influence of a Ctsk-/-/Mct8-/y/Mct10-/- triple knockout on the tanscriptome of thyroid tissue in male mice

To investigate the influence of cathepsin k and the monocarboxylate transporters 8 and 10 on the gene expression profile in thyroid tissue, we used a Ctsk-/-/Mct8-/y/Mct10-/- triple knockout mouse model and performed microarray analyses. We used male wild type C57Bl/6J and Ctsk-/-/Mct8-/y/Mct10-/- triple knockout mice at 5-8 months of age. Snap-frozen thyroid tissue from four animals per genotype was used for RNA extraction. Transcriptome analyses were performed using individual RNA samples.
