This dataset supports the article “From Silos to Markets: How Data Factor Marketization Drives Digital-Physical Technology Integration” .It includes a synthetic firm-level dataset (DFM_DPTI.dta) that mimics the structure of confidential research data, along with supplementary files such as city_treatment_info.xlsx (timing of data trading platform establishment) and ipc_classification.xlsx (digital vs. non-digital patent classification).All Stata do-files required to replicate the empirical results and figures are provided, covering descriptive statistics, baseline regressions, robustness checks, and event-study analyses.The code requires Stata 17 and standard user-written packages (e.g., reghdfe, ppmlhdfe, xtabond2).The synthetic data allow full code execution while protecting confidentiality; researchers can obtain original firm and patent data directly from CSMAR and CNIPA under license.
