Entomopathogenic fungi Beauveria bassiana (Cordycipitaceae) effect on the bark beetle Ips typographus (L.) under field conditions

The spruce bark beetle Ips typographus L. attack progression (maternal and larval galleries) and parents and offspring mortality rate, were assessed in managed forests of the Poiana Ruscă and Bihor Mountains, Western Romanian Carpathians, by using fungal (Beauveria bassiana) treatments.
