Growth-Form Classification of Species Used in Flammability Trait Analyses

This dataset supports the paper Distribution of flammability-related traits in different fire regimes. It includes the original species names as listed in the TRY database and the associated growth forms for each species.
Species were classified into five growth-form categories: grass, geophyte/herb, shrub, shrub/tree, and tree, using information from Li and Prentice (2024) and Plants of the World Online (https://powo.science.kew.org/). Grass classifications follow Watson and Dallwitz (1992).
