Single nucleus RNA sequencing of mouse cochlea and utricle aging.

The cochlea is the auditory sensory organ and the utricle detect linear acceleration and the pull of gravity. We performed single nucleus RNA sequencing to analyze changes of cell types and gene expression in cochlea and utricles during aging. Overall design: Under a microscope, 3M, 9M and 12M mouse cochlea and utricles were harvested using microdissection forceps and digested for analysis using single-nucleus RNA sequencing.
