Transcript sequences of Chaetoceros tenuissimus NIES-3715. Chaetoceros tenuissimus strain:NIES-3715

The small diatom Chaetoceros tenuissimus dominates in a coastal water and often forms a significant bloom. This diatom species, therefore, is considered to play an important role for primary productions in coastal environments. Understanding the transcript responses of C. tenuissimus under phosphate deficiency, the cultures under a phosphate deficiency and a normal condition were conducted to compare the transcripts, which were sequenced by Illumina HiSeq.
