This collection comprises images from historic building recording of the former Barnsley Permanent Building Society undertaken by Ed Dennison Archaeological Services Ltd in May 2022. The building was opened in 1938 and occupies a prominent position at the junction of Church Street and Regent Street, opposite the Town Hall in the centre of Barnsley.
