MODIS is an important on-board sensor aboard the Terra and Aqua satellites. It is the only space-borne instrument on these satellites that directly broadcasts real-time observation data to the global community via the X-band, allowing free reception and unrestricted utilization of the acquired data. MYD07 is a standard atmospheric Level 2 and Level 3 data product that contains atmospheric profile data. It has a spatial resolution of 1 kilometer under the Lambert projection, and a geographic coordinate resolution of 30 arc-seconds. Daily datasets are classified as Level 2 products, while dekadal (10-day) and monthly datasets are synthesized into Level 3 products.
