Cruise ship landings on Svalbard

Data collected by all the tour operators along Svalbard’s coastline. They report where they landed with tourists and how many tourists joined on each landing. The governor gathers the data into this dataset. Most landings are referred to with names of the operators, and some do have a more or less accurate gps-position. This means that the dataset must be used as a rough measure on how many landing sites are visited during the summer season and how many tourists go ashore on those sites.
