This study aimed to discover novel antibiotics produced by Burkholderia and Paraburkholderia bacteria as interesting sources of specialized metabolites. A collection of environmental Burkholderia and Paraburkholderia were isolated from the Bornean jungle, Sabah, Malaysia.
