Based on the edible forage yield data product of the Eurasian steppe, the theoretical carrying capacity data product of the Eurasian steppe across different years was calculated using the daily forage intake of 1.8 kg per standard sheep unit and year-round grazing as the core calculation parameters. This indicator can be used to reflect the maximum number of standard livestock that the grassland can sustain under reasonable utilization conditions.
