To identify whether florigen also induces the expression of BnaA9.NST3, we attempted to transiently producing additional FT protein in the leaves (30 days after seeding when six leaves fully expanded) by Agrobacterium-based delivery of PVX vectors harbouring Bna.FTs gene. Then, we conducted RNA-Seq analysis using PVX and PVX-FT leaves after 7 dpi to explore the genome-wide transcriptional landscape dictated by Bna.FTs in B. napus. RT-qPCR was performed to detect the BnFT expression levels of all PVX-FT transfected plants. 10 plants with small differences in expression levels were selected for RNA-seq, of which five plants were equally mixed as FT#1 (Sample name: N10), and the other five plants were equally mixed as FT#2 (Sample name: N11). Moreover, five PVX empty vector transfected plants were equally mixed as PVX vector group (Sample name: WT). The PVX vector group and each mixed sample have two replicates.
