Mapping bat hunting, trade and consumption in Indonesia using records from online platforms

The data and code contained in this repository are supplement to the article "Mapping bat hunting, trade and consumption in Indonesia using records from online platforms", published in People and Nature The code and data are as follows: Indonesia_Maxent.R : R code used to train and evaluate MaxEnt models predicting the occurrence of bat hunting, trade and consumption across Indonesia. wdpa.R: R code used to process data from the World Database of Protected Areas for Indonesia. indonesia_academic.csv: The academic studies and extracted data used to validate MaxEnt odels predicting the occurrence of bat hunting, trade and consumption across Indonesia. indonesia_online.csv: Anonymised online records (thinned to 10x10km grid) used to train MaxEnt models predicting the occurrence of bat hunting, trade and consumption across Indonesia. Locations are provided to regency level. All other location information has been removed for data privacy reasons. indonesia_env_all.tif: Raster file (10 x 10 km resolution) with environmental predictors of at hunting, trade and consumption across Indonesia.
