GBA mentions the 22 types of loincloths he makes and describes some of their characteristics. He then shows a white strip of fabric that he has woven with hand-spun yarn. As this becomes scarce, the price of such a strip has increased and he is increasingly forced to use industrial thread. He then shows a strip woven with black thread, then a white strip with a red linear pattern, typical of the biro-mamata loincloth. This pattern is made with thread that he dyes himself in a decoction of tree roots.
