本数据集为1990.8.5-2016.12.28年中国大气本底基准观象台观测甲烷浓度数据，单位为ppb。中国瓦里关大气本底基准观象台始建于1994年，位于青藏高原，海拔3810米，是全球最高的大气本底基准监测站，也是世界上第一个设在大陆腹地的大气本底基准监测站，它的建立填补了全球大气监测网(GAW)在欧亚大陆内的空白。

This dataset comprises methane concentration observation data collected at the Waliguan Atmosphere Background Baseline Observatory of China from August 5, 1990 to December 28, 2016, with the unit of parts per billion (ppb). The Waliguan Atmosphere Background Baseline Observatory of China was established in 1994, located on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau at an altitude of 3,810 meters. It stands as the highest atmospheric background baseline monitoring station globally, and is also the first of its kind built in the continental hinterland worldwide. Its establishment filled a critical gap in the Global Atmosphere Watch (GAW) network across the Eurasian continent.
