Whole body microbiota using 16S amplicons for Rhodnius pallescens, Panama

Illumina MiSeq PE300 sequence data of barcoded 16S PCR amplicons from whole body extractions of Rhondius pallescens from two Canal area (Las Pavas, Trinidad de las Minas) and locations and Veraguas in Panama. Theses samples were prepped following the Adapterama system with internal barocoded primers followed by pooling and iTru PCR. Pools were deumltiplexed using Mr. Demuxy [https://pypi.org/project/Mr_Demuxy/1.2.0/] to obtain individual samples listed here. Individual internal sample barcodes are available in the supplemental material of the article published using this data, as well as in the sample file names. Purpose of the study was to characterize the microbiome of this Chagas disease vector.
