Vodafone revenue in the United Kingdom (UK) 2014-2024

Vodafone increased slightly its revenue generated in the United Kingdom (UK) overall from 2014 to 2023, from approximately 6.2 billion euros to around 6.8 billion euros. This comes despite the high seen in 2016, when the company generated 8.43 billion euros in the UK. Vodafone’s revenue outside of the UKVodafone is one of the world’s most prominent telecommunications companies, creating approximately 36.72 billion euros in revenue in the year ending 31 March 2024 from numerous territories including Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and in the Asia Pacific. Germany is by far the company’s most lucrative market, with Vodafone generating over roughly 13 billion euros in revenue in the country during the year ending 31 March 2024. Declining average revenue per userSince the second quarter of 2018/19, Vodafone has seen a rather steady fluctuation in average revenue per user (ARPU) in the UK from about 14.6 British pounds to 14.5 British pounds in the first quarter of 24/25. The largest drop occurred among contract customers, as opposed to those on pre-paid arrangements, falling from 18.6 British pounds in the second quarter of 2018/19 to reach 16.5 British in the third quarter of 2021/22. Vodafone is not alone in experiencing this decline in ARPU. The ARPU of all post-paid mobile subscribers in the UK fell from 27.76 British pounds in 2010, to 14.36 British pounds per user as of the first quarter of 2022.
