资源简介:

Cleaned and harmonized regional Adriatic in situ hydrographic observations (temperature and salinity) used in the study "Observational evidence for accelerated warming and salinification propagating into the deep Mediterranean" (Terzić & Vilibić, Geophysical Research Letters, 2026). The record contains four cleaned datasets in long-table CSV format, together with a README documenting provenance, the mapping to the original project filenames, row counts, file sizes, SHA-256 checksums, variables, and the processing applied. Each row is one depth-resolved observation within a profile or cast, with time, position, station identifier, depth, temperature, salinity, and Adriatic basin assignment. adriatic_ctd_mfsd_2019_2023_clean.csv — Adriatic CTD data, 2019–2023 (191,642 rows)adriatic_ior_database_1987_2019_clean.csv — Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries Adriatic database, 1987–2019 (362,036 rows)adriatic_palagruza_transect_1952_2018_clean.csv — Palagruža transect, 1952–2018 (9,098 rows)adriatic_rb_northern_transect_1979_2018_clean.csv — northern Adriatic transect, 1979–2018 (10,593 rows)These are the filtered outputs produced after the coastline, mainland and river-mask exclusions, and are the Adriatic inputs read by the multi-source climatology workflow. They are one of three observational sources combined in the study, alongside the SeaDataNet aggregated Mediterranean dataset (SDC_MED_DATA_TS_V2) and Argo profiles from the Argo Global Data Assembly Centre. The ingestion and harmonization scripts that produced these files are included in the accompanying analysis code record (doi:10.5281/zenodo.20410481), under Scripts/Adriatic/preprocessing/.
