Lyve1+ cells expressing BRAFV600E show hepatic vascular cavernomas in developing murine liver.

Analysis of whole liver samples from BRAFV600E F/+;Lyve1-Cre/+ murine embryos at embryonic day 11.5. Results provide insights into the role of BRAF gain-of-function mutation in hepatic endothelial cells during development. We used microarray to investigate the gene expression program affected by endothelial BRAFV600E during liver development and identified patterns of differentially-expressed genes and pathways during this process. Murine embryonic livers were dissected from E11.5 embryos and pooled for RNA extraction and hybridization on Affymetrix microarray chips. We utilized three samples for each genotypes.
