The correspondence, papers and reports in this series are not registered and have been arranged - though not consistently - by subject and comprise: copies of letters sent and letters received; tenders, schedules and specifications for aircraft and equipment; operations reports and crew rosters; statistical reports on patients carried and the medical condition of patients. In addition, there is detailed information on the Board's efforts to obtain both government and corporate funding to establish the aerial ambulance service. The files are grouped by broad subject area and then individual file letters are listed. Remnants of two former registration systems appear throughout and these references appear in the shelf list at the end of the title in brackets (eg. M, EE, etc.).
