These data describe catches of California spiny lobster (Panuliris interruptus) in the Santa Barbara Channel. Lobster count and weight were collected from Santa Cruz Island between 2006 and 2018. Data are contained in two tables: 1) Catch per trap across all sites 2) the weight in lobster caught in traps from all sites. This is a data package to support manuscript: Hunter S. Lenihan, Sean P. Fitzgerald, Daniel C. Reed, Jennifer K.K. Hofmeister, and Adrian C. Stier. Increasing spillover enhances southern California spiny lobster catch along marine reserve borders. Ecosphere.
